After previously playing in a top league in Austria, I wanted to make a move to Spain and had little knowledge on how to make that happen. With the help of my good friend Jack Imperato, I was given the opportunity to go on trial with the B team of Algeciras CF. A few weeks later I had signed there. After winning the league that season with Algeciras B, through the help of Jack again as well as Jose Galan, I was given the opportunity to go on trials in Gibraltar and ended up playing alongside Jose at Europa FC in the top flight of Gibraltar.

Jack and Jose’s willingness to go out of their way and help people they believe in is a truly admirable trait. Their dedication in their work is a testament to who they are as people. I will forever be grateful to Jack and Jose as friends and teammates. I could not recommend two better people to assist someone in chasing their dreams in this sport.”

My name is George Pezzeca and I’m and American currently playing at Algeciras CF with the second team. During my early stages in Spain pursuing football at the highest level, I had the privilege of working with Jack Imperato and Jose Galan. I consider these two close friends of mine as well as primary role models for my future development.

Whether it be training in small group settings or an eleven against eleven match, Jose brought with him a contagious mentality that only allowed for the highest standards to be set. Jack’s commitment to his own success as well as others is displayed by his motivating personality; he too brings a wealth of experience in football and contributed to my development as an athlete in general.

My own success here can be attributed to hard work and passion, however without Jose and Jack embodying these traits daily it wouldn’t have been possible for me to succeed.

My name is Jackson Weyl, and I trained in Spain and worked with Jack and José directly. 

Jack was there with me every step of the way providing assistance when needed and most importantly being a great friend the whole time. He is a true example of a driven, empathetic, and hard working individual who wants the best for people around him. 

José was the most formative coach I’ve ever had. The perfect mix between supportive and disciplinary. Our sessions helped me progress to a technical and tactical level I never knew possible, and I accredit that completely to him. With his background in psychology, he helped me work through mental blocks that were holding me back and become not only a much better player, but person as well.
